- Qualification
- A driver on his flying lap should be let through and not be disturbed in any way.
Clarification:
That means that you should let ALL drivers that are on a Flying Lap and closes up on you on your Out Lap through at once. You are however NOT required to let anyone by when you´re on your own Flying Laps.
Gentlemans agreement:
Do not try to overtake a driver that is trying to create a gap on his out lap, make your own gap instead. We also think that one should let a driver that is right behind you on your flying lap by IF you screw up on that one. Fair and friendly racing is what it´s all about mates.

- Overtaking
- The overtaking driver should take full responsibility for any overtaking attempts. If the trailing driver manages to get side by side and has the inside line into the following corner, then the overtaking driver normally has the right to pass.
- Top
- Blocking
- When fighting for position, a overtaking opportunity will almost always evolve. The driver in front is allowed to alter his line once. If the drivers are side by side, a line change is not advisable.
any obstructive manoeuvre carried out by one or several drivers, either having common interests or not, is prohibited.
Clarification:
You are allowed to change your line ONCE before a corner to defend your position, but not twice or more. We should also add that first on track chooses his line, and he has NO obligation to give up the racing line until you get over lap on him.
Comment:
We have seen that some of you (even experienced drivers) have not followed that Rule during our Fun Races lately, "weaving" back and forth all over the track to block the driver behind. But if you do that during our League Races there is a big possibility that your on track behavior will be up for review by the Varjanta Judges Committee as we do NOT accept blocking. You are allowed to change your line ONCE before a corner to defend your position, but not twice or more.

- Lapping
- A driver being lapped should get off the racing line immediately, and allow the lapping driver to pass without incurring any time-delay, or else, a penalty might be given to the lapped driver. Getting off is best done on straights by moving away from “the racingline”, but not braking in corners which might impair the lapping cars plans to overtake.
- Top
- Accidents
- Taking out the opponent should be avoided at all costs. The repetition of dangerous driving, even involuntary, may result in the exclusion from the League
Clarification:
You WILL end up in front of the Varjanta Judges Committee if you by over aggressive or disrespectful driving take out other drivers in our races and FYI there where 2 drivers that got an Official warning due to that the last season. An Official Warning means that you are under Probation for at least 3 races and if you continue that behavior during those races, you will get banned from the League.
To take out an opponent by purpose will btw most lightly get you banned at once.
Gentlemans agreement:
We do race hard as hell and that means that all of us fook up at times. But if you do (take out another driver), to wait for him is not only a Gentlemans behavior, it is also regarded as a mitigating circumstance if that situation get´s reviewed by the Varjanta Judges Committee as we acknowledge the fact that you realize that you´ve fooked up and tried to do the best out of a bad situation and we do give all drivers "the benefit of a doubt".
- Top
- Out-Braking
- If a driver cannot brake sufficiently to avoid contact with the driver in front, the late-breaking driver is supposed to steer away from any impact.
Clarification:
If you realize that you will/might hit the driver in front of you, you are required to steer off track.
Gentlemans agreement:
If you happen to hit that driver anyways, wait for for him and let him by too. .

- Mechanical problems
- A driver experiencing mechanical problems, either simulator based on PC Hardware based, should get off the racing line immediately.
- Top
- Flags
- You must respect and lift off in yellow flag zones. No passing is allowed in yellow flag zones. Yellow Flags mean that there is a spin.
- Top
- Chat
- No chat during race or qualifying sessions.

- Politeness
- “Criticize a friend in private and praise him in public.” L. Da Vinci.
- Top
- General
- Drivers should act as if they actually could get hurt and have payed the car themselves. Ie, be careful. Consider also that peripheral view in simracing is limited. Adapt your driving to that, ie keep distance to other cars.
- Top
- Off/On track
- In cases we have to judge whether a car was on or off track we look at if at least2 wheels were inside the track’s white line, which is considered OK. curves, as well as the approach and exit zones thereof, may be negotiated by the drivers in any way they wish, within the limits of the track.
