This Historic F1-75 mod includes 22 teams from 1975 using 60 Cars in 28 different physics configurations. The mod also contains, Movie, Music, rFm, Sounds, Talent files and its own UI, plus 5 Extra Cars outside the Championship.
All cars have the same basic physics but are differentiated by different engines, drag and height of body mass and in some cases weight, which gives them all different behavior and performances.
The Ferrari is the fastest of them and it is about 20 kph faster then the slowest one, the BRM on the long straight at Kyalami75 with the default setup. But the BRM has got some nice handling and will give a lot of cars a run for their money on twisty tracks.
…..
I had a glance at the WDC/WCC Championships while setting the performance of the cars, but I have also looked at starting grids/lap times and I have taken that into consideration too. Ex the Shadows was one of the fastest cars on the grid in 1975 even though it did not score a lot of points during the season, which was due to a lot of break downs and some driver errors.
The 1975 cars performance starting with the fastest:
Ferrari
Brabham
McLaren (Brabham and Mclaren uses the same physics)
Shadow
Hesketh
Tyrrell
March (751)
Lotus (Works team)
Williams
Penske
Parnelli
Lotus (privateers)
Ensign
Surtees
Hill-Ford
BRM
Hill-Lola
Copersucar
……..
The cars are very nice to drive now, but they are not meant to be easy to drive though, (its Formula 1 cars ffs). This is not full throttle racing so to speak, and you will have to manipulate the throttle true the corners using fine tuned throttle application on the limit.
…….

Guys, what a fantastic mod on a platform that badly needed a breath of fresh air! So far I’ve tested only a few cars, and I have to say that the physics quality more than anything is truly exceptional.
If I may, I have however one small thing to note: the collision boxes don’t seem quite right.
Thank you for this gem.

Great Mod, but I think there is something wrong with McLaren´s size.
Nice look, but it is very small.
The nose is too sort.
What about the arms ?
Thank you very much.

Fantastic mod, great handling and a lot of fun to drive. one of my favourites!
I have no tire sounds when driving these cars, i do with other mods, anyone else have these problems or is it just me?
Thanks

@mrfotography:
I never heard of anyone that has experienced your problem and that makes it quite difficult to help you out mate. All the sound files that these Mods are using are included in their Full Installs and their sfx-files are correct too, so I have no idea what causes your problem. The only thing that comes to mind is that something.. somehow went wrong during Installation (copy&paste).
Try to re-install the F1-75´s sound files or do a whole new Install. The F1-75´s sound files are located in the Full Install download(s): rFactor\GameData\Sounds\F1-75\ directory.

Great MOD! Go VARJANTRA !
Comment by Vanzo — December 13, 2010 @ 22:41
This mod is a beta conversion of the Team CREW’s F1 Seven 1975 Release 1. This beta was made by Nerbur, an spaniard guy moderator of Virtualclassics, in 2007 or 2008, I think. So, Pesher is right.
The current conversion of Virtualclassics is from the Release 2 of the CREW’s 75 mod. In a few days, the v1.2 of the mod will be released, with important graphic improvements.

No, this is NOT a Beta Conversion, this a Finished Mod which have nothing in common with virtualclassics Mods. It is built/made from the F1-Seven Full 88 Conversion which due to that it was Unauthorized at that time did NOT have ANY Readme or Credit List.
You guys from virtualclassics really need to grow up and stop pestering people with your exaggerated lies and advertising of your own Mods.
