I tryed this mode a lot of time: well, it’s very very nice. Cars are modeled very well, and the drivers performances are quite realistic than the real F1 1982 season where.
Anyway, the cars engines performances are not realistic as drivers: Ferrari had over 580 cv, Renault had 560 cv, Brabham BMW had up to 570 cv.
Alfa Romeo and Ligier-Matra used a v-12 engines with over 530 cv both.
Lotus, Williams and McLaren used the 82′ Cosworth DFV engine model, with 525 cv ca.
All the other cars (March, Osella, Fittipaldi, ATS, Arrows, Toleman etc…) still used the 79′ Cosworth DFV model, with 495 cv ca.
All this dates are according with Wikipedia and other sites. I hope that you correct the cars features in 1.00 version. Hi!!

I downloaded the mod and have an odd problem. The entire field is made up of teamates. If there are 10 cars, I have 5 Piquets and 4 Patreses racing against me. this is on all tracks.

This does not happen in other mods, I checked these.

Any idea on where to look for a fix?

Fantastic!
There are only two things: roll-bar camera in a lot of cars is in a wrong position; and in every race, Ferrari (and only Ferrari!) (under a.i. control) has engine problem.
126C2 was the best car of 1982 (in fact Ferrari won the constructor’s championship).
Is not possible such thing.
But mod is fantastic!

I tried to set auto-detail to reduce FPS problem….it seems to work!

Hi Guys,

I´ve downloaded and tested your F1 82 mod, and what can i say?
I´m completely astonished with the quality of the Mod. I´ve to take my hat, and congrat all who participated on it. Tha cars are sooo real, and i can say that ´cause i´m a real fan of this cars, and to me, this was the golden age of F1, tha Wing Car era.
I have all the Teams working nice, everything is working fine, just “Race: 5 laps” apears when we expand the screen to see the replay, but this is just a detail, that will be fixed at v1.00, i´m sure.
Awsome mode, awsome cars, i´m enjoying a lot, and for me, till now, the best F1 mod on my F1 mods collection. And i can assure you, that i have almost all, loool.
Again congrats. Keep it up. And thanks a lot!!

Hello !!

Man, great mod, very real !!! A litlle easy to drive but the AI is very good, becoming very difficult to compete.

My only problem is that he crack my rfactor, usually when the cars are together (at the start or pit). When you choose your opponents, the only race that didn´t cracked was with imola 1982, in other “kind of opponents” (with many opitions of cars that you can race against) like Monza 82, Brazil 82. And i only race with other 7 cars (just with opponents Imola 82).

I don´t know what happen. And i hope that you understand my problem.
