An rFactor race format prototype in the spirit of the glorious race@rfc times.

Each season runs for 1 weeks, and includes 4 tracks which run in a cycle. 10 minute qualifying, 7 laps race. Winner is the one with the fastest aggregated times achieved on each of the tracks. We will run HistorX 1week and Next week Armaroli. Track suggestions are welcome

There is no limit on the number of times you can try during the season, so a bad race isn’t the end of the world. The Winner will be awarded a trophy each week

F1-75 Historic & League v.1.0

This Historic F1-75 mod includes 22 teams from 1975 using 60 Cars in 28 different physics configurations. The mod also contains, Movie, Music, rFm, Sounds, Talent files and its own UI, plus 5 Extra Cars outside the Championship.

All cars have the same basic physics but are differentiated by different engines, drag and height of body mass and in some cases weight, which gives them all different behavior and performances.

The Ferrari is the fastest of them and it is about 20 kph faster then the slowest one, the BRM on the long straight at Kyalami75 with the default setup. But the BRM has got some nice handling and will give a lot of cars a run for their money on twisty tracks.

I had a glance at the WDC/WCC Championships while setting the performance of the cars, but I have also looked at starting grids/lap times and I have taken that into consideration too. Ex the Shadows was one of the fastest cars on the grid in 1975 even though it did not score a lot of points during the season, which was due to a lot of break downs and some driver errors.

F1-75 @ Imola, 27th Jun

The F1-75 is a race series meant to serve all of its participants. Challenge drivers are expected to compete in a gentlemanly spirit of fair play, with respect for the regulations, other competitors and their cars. Drivers are expected to be competitors rather than combatants, with the spirit of fair and safe competition always coming first. Drivers who fail to respect this “fair play” philosophy will be excluded from the F1-75. However, sticking to our rules & server password will definitely immunize you to penalties. At Varjanta, most processes are pretty friendly.
